Relationships with other people always present challenges for personal growth. We sometimes resolve the either/or choices in our lives start by making choices that shut us removed from our greatest potentials. Both poles are a necessary a part of living nevertheless we all know that it must be to find the balance that individuals go through the full potential of your sacred Self. This Self, though it includes our polarized dimensions, transforms and transcends those dimensions and causes us to creatively alive.

To let it go while experiencing uncertainty,

To accept and rejoice in evolving process, is always to know peace.

The pulsing rhythm with the Omnipotent Yes-No

Beats such as an ever-expanding heart to evolve a Universe.

The breath of Life pauses neither in, nor out,

An affirmation of Life’s dynamic balance.

Swimming in the ever-pulsing ocean of becoming

I find peace within the creative I AM.

    (Ann Nunley, 1975)

Many of us recall the powerful representation of the masculine and feminine set forth through the tobacco industry in ads throughout the latter section of the 20th Century. The Marlboro man, tall, muscular and wearing a cowboy hat and Levis, stared down upon us from billboards, when it’s in another ad, the sexy lady with heavy lipstick, a good cigarette holder between her manicured fingers and stiletto heels on her behalf feet, reminded us that “You’ve come a good way, baby!” The tobacco industry knew that these messages would entice our requirement of identity and would sell cigarettes.

It is vital to differentiate between the superficial characteristics represented above as well as the more enduring intrinsic qualities that basically define the masculine along with the feminine. Superficial characteristics are stereotypes that enable us to feel “as if” we have been expressing who were. True intrinsic qualities are archetypes that reflect the values of the deeper, more whole self.

When we form relationships, we’re often drawn to other people who seem “opposite” to us and who express qualities that people usually are not yet capable of express. energy medicine practitioner suspect we somehow hope that by mere proximity i will be in a position to “own” those qualities for ourselves. And yet, what we have resisted and repressed within ourselves just isn’t so easily set free.

My husband Bob and I are actually married 47 years this spring. Being somewhat introverted, I was magnetized by his uninhibited expressions of exuberance. However, after we married I became uncomfortable with those very expressions. I found myself telling him what he “should” and “shouldn’t” say and do – imposing restrictions that fit my narrow rut. He bore this with great patience. Then one day as I was mulling over my judgments and making a few more, the Oscar Wilde’s phrase ” all men eliminating the things they love.” entered my head. I vividly saw and felt what I was doing and why. I realized that I needed to formulate, within myself, abdominal muscles qualities that I had first admired in Bob and then rejected.

This experience made me acutely aware as opposed to a lose-lose situation must others to give up genuine components of themselves to meet our very own comfortable zone, and our most critical creative act would be to re-create ourselves by liberating ourselves from old coping patterns that inhibit the expression of our own highest potential.

In individually balancing the masculine and feminine qualities within ourselves, we are more whole and dynamically alive. Love expands our hearts and after that moves upward to bloom being an expression from the Soul. We can then share this wholeness online websites without asking the crooks to fill in your missing pieces.

When two whole and balanced people form a partnership, their hearts and souls unite in a sacred synthesis, making a third expression that frequently surpasses that which either partner could individually express.

Our movement toward both individual and collective balance supports an authentic ecology to be that we creatively keep the integral systems which we really are a part. As we balance aspects within ourselves, we expand our influence to guide balance inside our partnerships, our families, our societies, all sentient life on this planet, as well as the universe itself.
